There are several government grants available for first home buyers and also existing property owners to help make home ownership more affordable and achievable. See below the current government grants available to the public.
First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) – First Home Buyers for purchasing/constructing a new home.
- FHOG grants encouraged to also apply for Household Goods Grant Scheme, Up to $2k provided to purchase household goods.

- Up to $26,000 cash payment (conditions apply).
First Home Owner Discount (FHOD) – for First Home Buyers for purchasing established homes.
- FHOD grants encouraged to also apply for Home Improvement Scheme-only valid till 30/9/18.

- Up to $23,928 available (conditions apply).
Household Goods Grant Scheme (HGGS)
Grant up to $2k for purchases of household goods (for first home owners of new constructed/purchased home).
Home Renovations Grant (HIS) –
Grant up to $10,000 Home Renovation Package. Only valid until 30/9/18.
Smart Energy Grant – Up to $1k grant.
Living Water Smart – $300-$500 garden tune-up rebate.
